Ambition

A post-dinner conversation this evening reminded me of Cable and Parker's personality differences. They don't show up all that often, really, but when they do, it's pretty funny.

Parker: Mommy, what does graduate mean?

Me: Well, when you finish high school, you "graduate." That means you did everything you were supposed to do, and you're finished, and you --

Parker: Can stay at home?

Cable: No, Pakooh. Then you go to college. And then you go to medical school. You don't stay home.
